Photography that seems to have become ubiquitous can be a valuable tool for introspection and sharing. The book of me facilitates listening to oneself and the world and activates one’s creative potential to produce a finished work that can be cherished over time.

The San Diego, California association, Outside the Lens, encourages young people to use photography and videography to stimulate evolution in themselves and in their community. Their innovative program invites students to tell their own story and teaches them to participate in community life by thinking creatively about their own reality.
